Thelma Marshall, born on August 28, 1954, in Chicago, IL, passed away on June 17, 2024, in Homewood, IL. Thelma was a vibrant soul who found joy in life and cherished her many nieces and nephews. The letters in her name held a special meaning to her, representing qualities she valued. Thelma was trustworthy, honest, eccentric, loving, magnificent, and angelic.
Thelma leaves behind a legacy of love, survived by eight nephews and six nieces, along with numerous great nieces and nephews. She was born to Katie Mae Marshall and Alonzo Mae Weather, and grew up with her three brothers - Roosevelt, Lucious, and Dennis - and two sisters - Jessie Mae Marshall and Dorthy Jean Marshall, whom she has now reunited with in the afterlife. Thelma's twin sister, Zelma Marshall, and her older sister, Juanita Marshall, continue her memory.
In 1990, Thelma married her loving husband, Michael Parham. Together, they shared 34 beautiful years of marriage. Thelma dedicated her career to working with elders, making a positive impact on the lives of those she cared for.
Thelma's favorite saying was "You got that right," reflecting her confident and energetic nature. She will be remembered for her conceit and zest for life.
