Rene led a fulfilling life marked by his passion for the great outdoors, where he enjoyed camping, fishing, boating, and quadding. An adventure seeker at heart, he loved to travel and ride motorcycles, often accompanied by his guitar, which brought joy to many gatherings. His fascination with vehicles and mechanics was evident throughout his career as a truck driver and logger, where he made a meaningful impact in his profession.

Survived by his sister, Margaret Hodges, Rene was known for his warm spirit and positive influence on those around him.
