Natasha Stepanichkova, also known as Nat, was born on February 10, 2003, in Yalta, Ukraine. She passed away unexpectedly on January 26, 2025, in Seattle, Washington. Natasha was a dedicated paramedic and firefighter, as well as a passionate high school girls basketball coach. Her commitment to her profession was exemplified by her favorite motto, “It’s a beautiful day to save lives,” which she lived by every day.
Natasha was deeply loved by her family and friends, and she cherished the moments spent with them. She was the proud daughter of Alexander and Viktoriya and the beloved sister to her six siblings. Her vibrant spirit was characterized by a contagious laugh and a bubbly personality that lit up any room she entered. Natasha had a great love for basketball, both as a player and a coach, inspiring young athletes with her enthusiasm and dedication.
Natasha was a brave, strong, and a resilient individual. She had fought Epilepsy ever since the age of three, and was one of the strongest people throughout her battle with Epilepsy. Natasha had also survived childhood cancer. Natasha loved hanging out with her two best friends, and she loved nothing more than her family.
Natasha's life was tragically cut short due to complications from Epilepsy, sadly passing away due to Status Epilepticus. Her legacy lives on through the lives she touched, both as a first responder and a mentor. She is remembered for her unwavering spirit and the profound impact she made in her community. Natasha Stepanichkova will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
