She also worked for The Sun Valley Company for several years after her kids were grown, making lasting impressions with fellow co-workers with her daughter and her friends joining her.
Maxine loved interior decorating, home renovations, crafting, cake decorating and yard work. It wasn’t uncommon for the kids to come home from school to a new paint color, re-arranged rooms, missing walls or new wallpaper. She was very creative and made their house a home, full of laughter and fun. Maxine loved many things, including music, dancing and sports. One highlight in her life was seeing Neil Diamond in concert. Maxine and Danny followed all their children’s and grandchildren’s sports. Later in life, they became dedicated BSU football fans.
