Known by the nickname "Street Doctor," Jim had an adventurous spirit, with favorite places including Ocean Hot Springs in Glenwood Springs, CO, Las Vegas, and the beaches in Hawaii. His love for ancient history and chemistry was matched by his fascination with the mysteries of the universe.
A memorable story that embodies his resourceful nature that occurred during his early years as a parent. When his '57 Chevy broke down, Jim found the necessary part in a field to make the repair and drive home, showcasing his knack for fixing mechanical issues.
