In humble submission to the will of the Almighty, we announce the peaceful passing of James "Pops" E. Johnson, aged 79, on February 22, 2024, in Minneapolis, MN. Born on August 3, 1944, in Bastrop, LA, his life was a testament to the virtues of simplicity, gratitude, and reverence for all creation.
James is lovingly remembered by his progeny, who continue to walk in the light of his wisdom: his children, James Johnson, Helen Johnson, and Scott Johnson; and his cherished grandchildren, Jordian, Markis, Tina, Ebony, Drevon, Andrew, Jaydin, Brendan, and Joshua. They mirror the love and strength he so generously bestowed upon them.
