Lupe was a remarkable woman who found joy in the simplest of things. Her favorite hobbies included spending time with her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, cooking delicious meals, shopping, tending to her garden, and watching baseball. Nothing brought her more happiness than being surrounded by her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Lupe had a deep love for baseball and could often be found cheering on her favorite team. She was married to her devoted husband, Benito Castillo, for an incredible 60 years. Lupe's superpower was the ability to make mouthwatering tortillas, a skill that was cherished by all who were fortunate enough to taste them.

She is survived by her children Dolores Guerrero (Angelo Guerrero), Doris Castillo, and Danny Castillo (Araceli Castillo). Her grandchildren include Benny Castillo, Celeste Cullen (Ty Cullen), Ross Perkins (Mykayla Perkins), Zane Gonzalez, Michael Perkins (Emily Perkins), and Raeya Gonzalez.
