Curtis was known for his hard work in the construction industry and took great pride in his ability to complete tasks quickly and efficiently. He was a devout Christian who strongly believed in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. His love for family was evident, and he often shared his life lessons with his sons and nephew Andrew, instilling values of self-discipline and a strong work ethic.
