Zeljka Aljic, a beloved resident of Cumming, GA, passed away on July 1, 2024, at the age of 55. Born on May 11, 1969, in Croatia, Zeljka was the daughter of Jela Rezic and Ante Rezic.

Zeljka was known for her vibrant spirit and zest for life. She found joy in the simple pleasures, such as gardening, spending time with family and friends, and exploring new destinations through her travels. Zeljka had a passion for homemade food and delighted in preparing meals for her loved ones.

Europe held a special place in Zeljka's heart, and she often spoke of it as her favorite place in the world. She embraced the challenges of life with unwavering courage, believing that when one door closed, another one would always open. Her strong will power and bravery were defining characteristics of her personality.

Zeljka leaves behind her widowed husband, Enver Aljic, who will forever cherish their memories together. She is also survived by her daughter, Nela Aljic, and son-in-law Jacob Mcghee, as well as her grandchildren, Jaxton Mcghee and Nova Mcghee. Zeljka's sister, Anka Boban, and brother, Jure Rezic, will remember her with love and admiration.

Zeljka found solace and guidance in her Catholic faith, which provided her with a sense of peace and purpose throughout her life. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In honor of Zeljka Aljic's memory, a private memorial service will be held for her family and close friends. May she rest in eternal peace.
