She was born to Eddie Eugene Moses and Essie Lee nee Cook.
She leaves behind her partner, Leon Nickson; she was predeceased by her sister, Edna Renee Williams; brothers Eddie Eugene Moses, Jr. (Tina); Anthony Samuel Moses, Sr. (Regina); Kevin Duane Moses, Christine Denise Moses Knox (Bryant); and Corina Calutta Moses Philpott (Aldolphus). A host of neices and nephews.
Yvonne Maria Moses, affectionately known as "Heavy," passed away on August 20, 2024, at the age of 58. She entered this place on September 30, 1965, in Cleveland, Ohio, and departured on August 20, 2024. Yvonne was a vibrant spirit whose love for life was evident in everything she did.
A graduate of Shaw High School, Yvonne was a bonafide hustler, known for her determination and resourcefulness. She had a passion for solving crossword puzzles, often seen with a pencil in hand and a smile on her face. Her favorite place in the world was Paris, she cherished for its beauty and romance, even though she never made it there.
Yvonne had a deep love for animals, particularly cats, which brought her much joy throughout her life.
Born to Eddie Eugene Moses, Sr. and Essie Lee Cook, both predeceased her. She leaves behind her partner, Leon Nickson, who will forever remember her warmth and laughter. Yvonne was predeceased by her beloved sister, Edna Renee Williams; a brothers, Eddie Eugene Moses, Jr. (Tina), Anthony Samuel Moses, Sr. (Regina), Kevin Duane Moses, Christine Denise Moses Knox (Bryant), and Corina Calutta Moses Philpott (Aldolphus). She also leaves a host of nieces and nephews who will carry on her legacy of love and resilience.
Yvonne's spirit and passion for life will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
