April 5, 2024, our Lord decided it was time to bring our Sister home. Yolanda Lopez, 66, was born on July 21, 1957 to Antonio & Aurora Martinez in Gregory, Texas. Yolanda was one of seven children. 

September 30, 1978 was one of the most memorable days for Yolanda as she married her husband, Ruben Bilano Lopez. This year would have marked 46 years.

She is survived by him as well as her two children; Jacob (Valari) Lopez, Ruth Ann Lopez, her six beloved grandchildren; Jordan Starr-Lopez, Joslyn Nikole Lopez, Cailin Angel Lopez, Current Ruben Lopez, Kadence Marie Fox, Gabrielle Jubilee Hundley, and two siblings; Alfredo Martinez, and Gloria Martinez. 

She is preceded by Graciela M. Aranda, Esiquel Martinez, Antonio T. Martinez Jr., & Jose Martinez. 

Whether you knew Yolanda as a loving mother, adoring wife, nurturing grandmother, aunt, cousin, most importantly, she was a devoted Sister of Christ. Up until her last days, she never missed an opportunity to meet with the Saints. 

‘And if I go & prepare a place for you, I am coming again & will receive you to Myself, that where I am you also may be. And you know where I go, & you know the way.’
