She loved her family expecialy her grandkids
Wilma Janice Burnett, known as Granny, Aunt Janice, and Granny BB, passed away on January 10, 2024, at the age of 84. She was born on May 28, 1939, in Mayflower, AR, and had been a resident of Benton, AR, at the time of her passing.
Above all, Wilma cherished her family, especially her grandkids. Nothing brought her more happiness than spending time with them.
Wilma had a fulfilling career at Parkway Village, where she worked until her retirement. Her dedication and hard work were commendable. She is preceded by her parents George and Otis Goodson Jarret, Her husband Bobby Burnett Sr. One Son Rickey Burnett Sr, Two grandchildren Donna Burnett and Rickey Burnett Jr, Her brother Charles Jarret and sister Edna Harris.
She is survived by her son, Bobby Burnett Jr, her daughter Vada Homequiest (Danny), and daughter-in-law Theresa Burnett (RickeySr). Wilma also leaves behind two granddaughters, Elizabeth Burnett-Stephens and Katrina Mason, as well as a grandson Paul Lilly Jr.Three great-grandchildren, Amber Burnett, Walter "Clay" Williams, and Brooklyn Burnett. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
Wilma Janice Burnett will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but her memory will be cherished for generations to come. May she rest in peace.
