Willie Mae Patterson, a beloved member of the community, passed away on May 20, 2024, at the age of 81. She was born on October 5, 1942, in Chicago, IL, and had been residing in Chicago Ridge, IL at the time of her passing.

Willie Mae had a passion for sewing and reading, finding solace and joy in these hobbies throughout her life. She also shared her musical talents as the piano player at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church for an impressive 14 years.

Aside from her hobbies, Willie Mae was a dedicated Sunday school teacher, impacting the lives of many through her teachings. Her love for children and her commitment to sharing her faith made her an invaluable member of the Mt. Hebron Baptist Church community, where she also served as the treasurer.

Willie Mae was a Baptist woman who loved Jesus, and her strong faith served as a guiding light in her life. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion to her church and community.

In her free time, Willie Mae enjoyed watching movies, with teaching being one of her all-time favorite subjects. Her desire to instill knowledge in others was evident in her role as a Sunday school teacher and her commitment to uplifting those around her.
