Mr. Willie Alton McLaughlin Sr.

On the morning of April 23, 2024, Willie Alton McLaughlin Sr. departed this life at his home in Greensboro, North Carolina.
He was born in West End, North Carolina (Moore County), and was educated in Moore County Schools. He served in the United States Army in the Korean War.
Willie will be dearly missed by his children, Vincent Maurice Barner (Anita), Toni Lorenzo Barner, and Kimberly Barner Bell. He leaves to cherish thirteen grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Beatrice McLaughlin, a brother, James McLaughlin; three sisters, Gladys Smith, Helen Goins, Ann Shamburger, and three sons, Willie Alton McLaughlin, Jr., Steve Tillman, and Steven Barner.
