Obituary
William "Randy" Harness passed away on December 24, 2025, at age 65, in Searcy, AR. Born December 27, 1959, in Tipton, IN, Randy loved camping, boating, riding four-wheelers, grilling, and watching racing. Randy, also known to some friends and family as Bill, was a very kind and gentle soul who loved his friends and family. Randy loved camping and being on the lake and was famous for his Jambalaya while camping.
Randy attended and graduated from Tri-Central High School in Sharpsville, IN. Randy moved to Searcy in 1980 with his then-wife Nina. He worked at Frosty Aire, Yarnells in the early 1980s, owned a small lawn care business which served several searcy businesses, and worked at Walmart distribution.
He is survived by his daughter, Chene'lle Harris; granddaughters, Taiyah and Ta'Miyah (Mia) Tims; sister, Karen Osborne, husband Mike; and three nieces, Jackie, April, and Casey.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Janet Harness, brother Curt Harness, and grandmothers Louise Newton and Juanita Young.
Randy will be cremated, with a memorial service to be announced by his family.

I want to welcome everyone who knew and loved my dad, Randy, to come and celebrate his life with us and have some food as we share stories and memories. Dad loved grilling, so weather permitting, we will be grilling and possibly gather around the fire pit, as he also loved to do!
