William J. Tharp, affectionately known as Bill, passed away on January 7, 2024, at the age of 83. He was born on March 31, 1940, in Chehalis, WA, and had most recently resided in Spokane, WA.
Bill was a truck driver by profession, but his true joy in life came from spending time with his loved ones. He adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, always cherishing the moments he spent with them. His grandchildren, Kelsi, Amber, and Lewis, held a special place in his heart, and he doted on his great-grandchildren, Elli, Rilee, and Oaklee.
In his free time, Bill enjoyed going elk hunting with his brother Bob. He had a deep appreciation for nature and relished the time he spent in the great outdoors.
Bill's defining trait was his unwavering willingness to help others. He was always there for anyone in need and touched the lives of those around him in a profound way. His favorite motto in life was "One day at a time," a reminder to appreciate the present moment.
He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren, Kelsi, Amber, and Lewis, who were fortunate to have such a loving and caring grandfather. Bill's legacy lives on through the memories he created with his family and the impact he had on their lives.
