William Henry Head, affectionately known as Hakeem, passed away on February 7, 2025, just weeks shy of his 57th birthday. Born on February 25, 1968, in Jesup, Georgia, he spent his final years in Clarksville, Tennessee.
Hakeem was known for his infectious spirit and his favorite saying, "Living the dream," which reflected his optimistic outlook on life. His proudest accomplishment was becoming a father, a role he embraced with love and dedication.
He shared his life with Malynda Umstead for three cherished years, creating lasting memories together. Hakeem is survived by his beloved parents from Jesup, Georgia, along with his two sisters, Constance Williams and Sylvia Head, and his brother, Brad Thomas.
Hakeem will be remembered for his heartfelt enthusiasm for life and the joy he brought to those around him.
