Obituary
William Gosey Sr., age 101, of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on December 26, 2025.
William was born on September 5, 1924, in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was known for always catching the biggest fish at tournaments and for living each day as if there were no tomorrow. Above all, he will be remembered as the best father and grandfather, whose love and dedication to his family never wavered.
William is survived by his daughter, Janine Gosey; his grandson, Jasean Turner; his granddaughter, Denecia Turner; and his great-grandchildren, Adonis and Ava Tansil.
A celebration of life will be held at Burn Springs Church of Christ in Columbia, Tennessee, on January 4, 2026. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by the service at 12:00 p.m.
William will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
