William Clay Felton, known affectionately as Clay, passed away on September 25, 2024, at the age of 71. Born on January 24, 1953, in Atlanta, GA, he spent his final years in Dacula, GA, where he was a beloved member of the community.
Clay dedicated over 50 years of his life to his profession as a plumber, earning respect for his skills and work ethic. He was a proud family man, married to his high school sweetheart, Deborah Wiley. Together, they raised two sons, Damon and Justin Felton. Clay cherished the moments with his grandson, Gage Felton, and was overjoyed at the birth of his great granddaughter, Allie Felton.
A charismatic and kind-hearted individual, Clay had a gift for making people laugh with his quick wit and humor. He was passionate about sports, particularly baseball, and found joy in watching Bally Sports. His love for the game extended beyond watching, as he coached baseball for his children and grandson, leaving a lasting impact on their lives.
Clay's legacy includes a remarkable bowling achievement, having bowled a perfect game of 300 in his bowling league. He was a devoted Baptist Christian, having been baptized, and his faith was an important part of his life.
He is survived by his sister’s Karen Jones, Carol Lee Holmes, and Cay Davis, along with his son Damon Felton, grandson Gage Felton, and great granddaughter Allie Felton. Clay will be remembered as a light in the lives of those around him, whose warmth and laughter will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be from 2 pm to 3 pm and the service starts at 3 pm
