William "Bill" Ernest Berry, Jr., born on August 15, 1930, in Wilson, NC, passed away on September 15, 2024, in Powdersville, SC. He spent is childhood growing up in Elloree, SC with his loving family. Bill will be remembered for his vibrant spirit and love for the outdoors, particularly his passion for fishing, hunting, and gardening.
A proud veteran, Bill served during the Korean conflict at a supply depot in Alaska, where he forged lifelong friendships and developed a strong sense of duty and camaraderie. He was an avid sports enthusiast, enjoying football, waterskiing, baseball, and tennis throughout his life.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Betty Berry, who was his partner in life and adventure. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
