Obituary for William Austin Davenport

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William Austin Davenport. William was a beloved son, a loyal friend, and a gentle soul whose light touched all who knew him. He passed away leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of kindness, laughter, and love.

William had a deep passion for video games, where he found joy, adventure, and connection with others. His love for gaming reflected his playful spirit and creative mind. Beyond his hobbies, William will be remembered most for his unwavering loyalty to his friends and the deep bond he shared with his family.

He is survived by his loving mother, Tara Bennett of Shelbyville, Tennessee, and his devoted father, David of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Their love and support meant the world to William, and he carried that love with him always.

William’s presence in our lives was a gift, and though he is no longer with us, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know him.

A private service will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor William’s memory by sharing a moment of kindness, a favorite memory, or by simply spending time with those you love.

He will be missed more than words can express.
