William Arthur Hall Jr., affectionately known as Art, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2024, at the age of 88. Born on June 3, 1936, in Bridgetown, Saint Michael, Barbados, he spent his later years in Las Vegas, Nevada.

A proud retired Staff Sergeant of the United States Air Force, Art also dedicated his life to serving as a social worker for Clark County. He was a Prince Hall Mason of the highest degree, reflecting his commitment to community and brotherhood.

Art had a passion for fishing, gardening, and reading cowboy stories. He was an avid fan of John Wayne films, often enjoying them alongside a hearty meal of liver and onions, prime rib, or oysters on the half shell. His love for music was evident in his appreciation for artists like Boney James and Etta James, and he could often be found cheering for his favorite baseball teams.

Art cherished his family above all else, finding immense joy in watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow. He is survived by his beloved wife, Alice Elaine Hall, with whom he shared 64 wonderful years of marriage. He is also survived by his three children: Joscelyn Thompson, Baron DeMarcko Hall, and Ingrid Williams, along with an adoring lineage that includes his grandchildren Fabriene Rogers, Teddy Brown, DeMarkco Hall, Kendahl Williams, Kerwynn Williams, DeArmon Hall, and Kennedy Williams, as well as his great-grandchildren Ely’Jah Brown, Heiress Hall, Derek Kelly, Adriana Hall, and Honor A.E. Brown.

Art's favorite place in the world remained his birthplace of Barbados, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of love, dedication, and warmth will continue to inspire his family and friends for years to come.
