Obituary
William Alton Rainey of Marietta passed from this life on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the age of 60. Memorial Services will be held at a later time.
A native of Marietta , Alton was the son of the late Henry Rainey and Martha Rainey of Marietta. He enjoyed kayaking, fishing, and being outdoors. He also loved music and had a beautiful voice. He enjoyed motor sports bikes.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Billy Ray and Louise Rainey
Alton is survived by his sons, William Joseph Rainey (Bethany Rainey)of Spencer, Tennessee , Andrew James Rainey of Rossville, Georgia; daughters, Stephanie Rainey, and Elizabeth Young of McMinnville, Tennessee; grandchildren, William Gavin Rainey, Izabella Rainey, Brylee Tate, Emma-Marie, and Adriana Nicholas; sisters , brother, aunts, uncles, and several nieces and nephews
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made to Marietta Funeral Home & Crematory to help with service expenses..
