Willard Maurice McKinney, known to friends and family as Reese or Mo, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2024, at the age of 75. He was born on September 26, 1948, in Athens, TN, and was a beloved member of his community.

Willard's greatest joys in life were his family and the Tennessee Vols. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Wanda McKinney, and a loving father to his two sons, Mark and Craig, and their wives, Melisa and Diane, respectively. He cherished being a grandfather to Seth, Bethany, and Ian, and took delight in the recent addition of his great-grandchild, Everlee.

Professionally, Willard was a skilled builder who specialized in constructing log homes. His career achievements included the creation of hundreds of beautiful and enduring structures, leaving a lasting legacy in the industry.

Known for his honesty and strong work ethic, Willard was an inspiration to all who knew him. He approached life with a steadfast determination and an unwavering commitment to his family and friends. His kindness and gentle nature will be remembered by those fortunate enough to have had him in their lives.

Willard found solace and strength in his Baptist faith, which provided him with a firm foundation throughout his life. He was dedicated to his religious beliefs and found comfort in his spiritual journey.
