Weedy Sean Green, born on November 9, 1970, in Grand Rapids, MI, passed away on October 28, 2024, in Dallas, TX. A devoted husband, father, and friend, Weedy was known for his warm spirit and generous heart.
Weedy loved nothing more than his family and his faith in Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is survived by his beloved wife, Demetra Green, and their four daughters, Shirley, Toya, Shawntray, and Zanadi, as well as their son, Isaiah Shine. He also leaves behind three stepdaughters, Brittney Harris, Glenquisha Harris, Tichina Hall, and a stepson, Shaq Harris, along with 17 cherished grandchildren.
Weedy was a man of many talents, often found fixing computers and electronics with his skilled hands. His passion for technology was matched only by his love for games and sci-fi movies. An avid fan of football, he supported the Green Bay Packers and the NY Jets wholeheartedly. Weedy found joy in good home-cooked meals and cherished moments spent with loved ones.
Born into a large family, Weedy is survived by his mother, Della Shine, as well as six sisters and two brothers, along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He touched the lives of many friends who will remember him as a mechanic, computer technician, prayer partner, and best friend.
Weedy's favorite place in the world was Canada, where he loved to travel and create lasting memories. His vibrant personality, kindness, and unwavering faith will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
