Obituary

WC "Ted" Jones, beloved husband, father, and dedicated professional, passed away on May 22, 2024, at the age of 83. He was born on November 3, 1940, in Margaret, AL, and most recently resided in Sun City, AZ, his favorite place in the world.

Ted was a loving family man and had a deep passion for golf, which he cherished as his favorite hobby. He found great joy in spending time with his family and playing golf on the beautiful courses of Arizona. Ted was a proud manager at I. Schumann, where he dedicated many years of his career.

Ted's proudest accomplishments included achieving his first Hole in One and being announced in the local Sun City newspaper. His determination and work ethic were evident throughout his life, as he would often say, "I'm going to make it work."

Ted is survived by his devoted wife, Annie L. Jones, their son Kevin Jones, and grandson Samuel Page Jones. He was the loving son of Page and Fannie Jones and had two sisters, Dorothy and Martha. Ted's defining personality traits included being a family-oriented individual who always put his loved ones first. He was known for his strong sense of pride and his hardworking nature.

Ted's faith was an integral part of his life, and he was baptized at Canaan Missionary Baptist Church. He later reaffirmed his faith in Christ, finding solace and strength in his religious beliefs.

Ted will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but his memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
