Walter Perry Green 2nd, affectionately known as Wally, passed away on February 12, 2025, at the age of 40 in his home in Mountain View, MO. Wally was born on January 19, 1985, his hometown is in Oldtown, MD, he was a beloved son, father, brother, Uncle, and friend. Wally grew up in a close-knit family, the son of Walter and Gale Green. He graduated from Fort Hill High School in 2003 and became a skilled carpenter, known for his dedication and craftsmanship in his work.
Wally was a devoted father to his four children, Walter Green 3rd, Katlynn Youngblood, Brantley Youngblood, and Eli Green, who will carry on his legacy. He is survived by his mother, Gale Green, and his siblings: Lynn Guidry (Israel Guidry), Sherrie Saville (Brandon Saville), Josephine Atkinson (Alex Atkinson), and Carol Green (Justin Perry), who will cherish their memories of him. Wally was an Uncle and Great Uncle to numerous nieces and nephews, he also had a very special bond with his nephew Isaac Walter Holloway.
An avid gamer, Wally found joy in life's simple pleasures, often enjoying the music of his favorite artist, Jelly Roll. He also had a special bond with his beloved mastiff, Maizkeen, who was a constant companion by his side. Wally is preceded in death by his father, Walter P. Green.
Wally’s presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His warmth, humor, and spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
A memorial service is being planned for a March timeframe once all the details have been worked out the family will let friends and family know.
