Walter Chandler, lovingly known as Hulk man, passed away on April 21, 2024, at the age of 80. He was born on June 19, 1943, in Chicago, IL, and had been residing in Joliet, IL. Walter was a beloved husband to Christine Chandler for 40 years and a proud father to 15 children.

Throughout his life, Walter had a vibrant personality and a great sense of humor. He had the ability to light up any room with his jokes and bring joy to those around him. Walter was an exceptional mechanic, known as the best in town, and he took great pride in his work.

In his free time, Walter enjoyed fishing and working on his 1988 Monte Carlo. He loved spending time with his 25 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, cherishing every moment with them. Walter had a passion for gospel music and was a talented piano player. He could rock the church with his skills and was always eager to share his love for music.

Navy Pier in the summertime was Walter's favorite place in the world, where he found solace and joy. He also enjoyed watching wild Wild West movies and wrestling, often sharing these interests with his grandchildren while watching WWE.

Walter's life motto was, "When life gives you lemons, you don't settle for that; you take the whole tree and multiply." He lived by this motto, always finding ways to overcome challenges and make the most out of life.
