Walter A Clauss, known affectionately as "Santa," passed away on April 21, 2024, at the age of 61. He was born on October 25, 1962, in Athens, OH, and had been residing in Coolville, OH.

Walter was a gas operator by profession, dedicating many years to his career. However, his true passion lied in his favorite hobbies. He found immense joy in spending his Sundays watching Nascar, cheering on his favorite drivers.

Above all, Walter cherished the time he spent with his wife Kathy, grandkids, daughter Michelle, and son Rob. Being a loving and doting grandfather and father brought him immense happiness.

One of Walter's proudest accomplishments was winning a championship in dirt track racing. It was a testament to his determination and skill behind the wheel.

Walter was married to Kathy for 35 years, and their love was a source of strength and support throughout their lives together.

He is survived by his daughter Michelle, son Rob, and grandchildren Alisha, Zac, Brayden, and Austyn. Walter will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. May his joyful spirit and loving nature live on in the memories of those he leaves behind.
