Wagner Chancy, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on June 3, 2024, at the age of 67. He was born on November 19, 1956, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and most recently resided in Miami, FL. Wagner was a surgical technician for over 30 years, dedicating his life to helping others in the medical field.
Wagner was a people person, always ready to lend a helping hand and spread positivity. He cherished spending time with his family and friends, finding joy in their company. He loved nothing more than seeing his children happy and was immensely proud of their accomplishments.
In his free time, Wagner enjoyed exploring new food, as he had a deep appreciation for different cuisines. He was a big fan of Haitian konpa specially Skah Shah one of his favorite band, he enjoyed listening to Maurice Sisto and watch his favorite TV shows on his spare time. Wagner was also an avid sports fan, particularly enjoying soccer and American football.
Our dear Wagner will be remembered for his giving nature and his dedication to making a difference. He actively participated in community organizations and charities, including missionary work with doctors to provide medical care to the less fortunate. He also sponsored several children around the world, demonstrating his compassion for those in need.
Wagner is survived by his loving spouse, Marie Carole Chancy, and their children, Wolf Chancy, Waina Chancy, Doris Pierre Louis & Husband Jules Pierre Louis, Rijkaard Benoit and his wife Anne Marie Benoit, along side his grandchildren Aiden Rashaard Benoit, Riley Pierre Louis, Rayden Amir Benoit, Kai Anthony Chancy. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Marie Antoinette Brun whom he loved like a mother. His brother, Gary Romain, and nieces Regine Romain Ruth Romain and Rudman Romain his sister, Nancy Paul Alexandre. Wagner's legacy of kindness, generosity, and love will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire us all. Rest in peace, Wagy. We love you and will forever cherish the memories we shared with you.
