Vonte Jr’e String, known affectionately as Von, passed away on May 21, 2024, at the age of 30. He was born on December 19, 1993, in Livermore, CA, and was most recently living in Oakland, CA.

Von's life revolved around his greatest love: his four daughters, Adalia, Lenesha, Yvette, and Jasmine. They brought immeasurable joy to his world, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Von's dedication to his family knew no bounds, and he always prioritized their happiness and well-being.

Balling on a budget was one of Von's favorite mottos, reflecting his resourcefulness and ability to make the most out of any situation. His positive attitude and infectious energy were truly remarkable, brightening the lives of those around him. Von had a way of making everyone feel seen and valued, leaving a lasting impact on everyone he encountered.

Von is survived by his father, Lovell, and mother, Lisa, along with his six loving sisters: Sheila, Dearah, Tacora, Hannah, Cece, and Sasha, and his three brothers: Raymond, Melvin, and Luciano. His presence in their lives will be deeply missed.
