Virginia Halterman Milton, affectionately known as Ginger or Miss Virginia, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2024, at the age of 93. Born on October 11, 1931, in Ridgeley, WV, she spent her final years in Trinity, FL.

A dedicated registered nurse, Virginia graduated from Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1952 and devoted her life to caring for others. She was married to Daniel Milton on April 16, 1952, a union that lasted until his passing on April 12, 2012. Virginia took immense pride in her roles as a wife, mother, and grandmother, fostering a loving family that includes her daughters, the late Karen Kenney and Kimberly Massey, and her sons, Jeffrey Scott Milton and Daniel Mark Milton. She also leaves behind a legacy of grandchildren: Jennifer Rorabaugh, Jenna Massey, Ryan Massey, Chadd Milton, Carrie Milton, Mandie Reid, Brandin Milton, and Cameron Milton, along with 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Virginia cherished her time at home, where she enjoyed hobbies such as playing bingo, solving crossword puzzles, sewing, and playing the organ. She found joy in watching her favorite TV shows, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. Known for her kind and caring nature, she always expressed gratitude with a heartfelt "thank you."

Guided by her personal mottos, "Do something that will make God smile today" and "Don't be pushed around by the fears in your mind. Be led by the dreams in your heart," Virginia inspired those around her with her positive outlook on life. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who remember her not only for her compassion but also for her unwavering spirit.
