Virgie Elma Heathcoe, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away on March 11, 2024, at the age of 99. She was born on September 13, 1924, in Hobson, Alabama, to the late Bud and Leona Thompson.

Virgie was a dedicated and loving wife to her husband, "Buddy," for 48 years. Together, they built a beautiful life in Semmes, Alabama, where they established their home and raised their family.

Family was the heart and soul of Virgie's life. She cherished her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and even great-great-grandchildren. Virgie found immense joy in spending time with her family, sharing laughter, and creating memories that will be cherished forever.

Cooking was one of Virgie's greatest passions, and she had a special talent for preparing delicious meals for her loved ones. Whether it was a big family gathering or a cozy dinner at home, Virgie's kitchen was always filled with love and mouthwatering aromas.
