Vincent Shavers, born March 29, 1966, in Chicago, Illinois, to James Shavers & Grace Shavers (Richard Johnson) , passed away on November 15, 2025. He leaves behind a legacy of talent, warmth, and an unforgettable presence that touched hearts across the world.

A proud graduate of Evanston Township High School, Vincent’s passion for the arts was evident early in life. Involved in theater and performance arts, he captivated audiences with his charisma, talent, and dedication to creative expression.

After high school, Vincent continued his education and pursued his calling in acting and modeling. His career took him across the globe, where he graced stages, screens, and runways with an unmistakable presence, artistic depth, and natural elegance. Vincent’s work left lasting impressions on all who encountered his craft.

Though widely celebrated for his professional achievements, Vincent will be remembered most for the man he was—vibrant, loving, humorous, and kind. His warm spirit touched countless lives, and his generosity and joyful nature will remain in the hearts of those who knew him.

Vincent is survived by his siblings: James Shavers of Mesa, Arizona; Glinder Perkins(Paul) of Chicago, Illinois; Kimberly Parson (Charles); Richard Shavers-Johnson of Memphis, Tennessee; and Tracy Johnson of California along with a host of nieces and nephews and Great nieces & nephews who cherished him deeply.

Vincent is also survived by his best friend, Rachel Koch, who held a special place in his heart and in the hearts of his family. Her unwavering friendship, support, and love brought immeasurable comfort and joy to Vincent throughout his life.

Vincent’s memory will continue to shine through the lives he touched, the art he created, and the love he shared. May he rest in eternal peace, forever remembered and forever cherished.
