He was quite the guy & will be missed dearly
Vince will always be remembered for his sense of humor, empathy, good work ethic, & his love of cooking BUT most of all, his love for his mother, whom he loved & adored very much.

Vince attended and graduated from school, received Sacraments, and later worked construction.
He liked working construction as some jobs took him out of state & he could enjoy the sights. Since 2000 his health started to decline, & he couldn't work anymore, he missed the camaraderie and adventures.
In 2023 Vince had cancer surgery, he beat that battle. We all prayed so hard, while in recovery, he told nurses "Prayers work wonders my whole family has been praying for me". We continued to pray for Vince & his family. But
The cancer came back in April 2024, this time it was an aggressive form of lung cancer. He tried to so hard to hang on, he wasn't ready to die but GOD decided he had suffered enough and took him home on Saturday June 8th, with his family by his side.
Vince seldom came to Minnesota, after he grew up but he still kept in touch as his "Vigil Aunties" Charlotte, Alberta, & Roberta would send him cards & notes to let him know he was thought of.
One year the whole Hernandez Familia came to Minnesota for Thanksgiving, it was beautiful. We spent the day at Grandma Nellie's house and made beautiful memories to last a lifetime. Vince said he had the best time that year. The gang went roller skating, bowling, sledding, jus hanging out, enjoying each other's company & being silly

Obituario
In tears we watched him suffer, We watched him fade away, Our hearts were almost broken, He fought so hard to stay.
But when we saw him sleeping, So peaceful free from pain, We could not wish him back, To suffer that again.
Lord keep your arms around him, And in your loving care, Make up for all he suffered, And all that seemed unfair, It broke our hearts to lose him, But he did not go alone, For a part of us went with him, The day GOD called him home.
