Victor Ritchie, known to many as Elder Victor Ritchie of the 12 apostles, passed away on September 5, 1970, at the age of 70. He was born on May 2, 1900, in Louisville, KY, and most recently resided in Salt Lake City, UT.

Victor dedicated his life to serving as a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. His commitment and devotion led him to be appointed as one of the 12 apostles. This significant role allowed him to contribute greatly to the church and its teachings.

On June 1921, Victor was sealed to Marie Ann Thomas in the Salt Lake City Temple. Together, they raised three children, Elder Gary Ritchie, Sister Kay Ritchie, and Elder Thomas Ritchie, all of whom were a source of immense pride and joy to Victor.

Victor leaves behind a legacy of leadership and service. His position as a member of the 12 apostles showcased his dedication to his faith and his community. Through his teachings and contributions, he touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him.
