Victor accepted Christ at an early age and attended Bayview Baptist Church in San Diego, Ca. Victor was a three sport athlete basketball, football and baseball. He excelled at all 3. Victor was in the Gifted program in school and was accepted into UCSD after High School.

Victor Ramon Mahone, affectionately known as Vic, was born on January 29, 1983, in San Diego, California. He peacefully passed away on May 30, 2024, in his hometown.
Victor was a beloved son of Robert Mahone and Elodia Zapata Mahone. He was the proud father of Jalen, Jordan, Gionni, and Kaya Mahone. Victor deeply cherished his children and enjoyed spending quality time with them.
Growing up, Victor attended Kearny High School in San Diego, where he excelled academically and athletically. He was a three-sport athlete, participating in basketball, football, and baseball. Victor's talent and passion for sports were evident to all who knew him.
Victor's love for basketball extended beyond playing the sport. He found joy in coaching his nieces' basketball team at Tierrasanta Recreation Center, sharing his knowledge and inspiring the next generation of basketball players.
An early commitment to his faith led Victor to accept Christ at a young age. He was an active member of Bayview Baptist Church in San Diego. Victor's faith guided him throughout his life, providing him with strength and compassion.
Victor's caring nature extended beyond the basketball court. He found fulfillment in his work as a caregiver for adults with disabilities. Helping others brought him immense joy and a sense of purpose.
Outside of his professional and volunteer work, Victor loved spending quality time with his brothers. They shared a close bond and also worked together at America's Finest Delivery, a moving company started by his younger brother Robby. This family business allowed them to create cherished memories and strengthen their relationships.
Victor will be remembered for his warm smile, kind heart, and unwavering dedication to his family, friends, and community. His positive impact on the lives he touched will be cherished and remembered always.
Victor was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Mahone and Elodia Zapata. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Jalen, Jordan, Gionni, and Kaya Mahone, and his siblings, Donald Fuqua, Tonya Mahone-Anderson (Warren), Robert Mahone, Tinisha Mahone-Williams (Cedric), Armando Mahone, Maisha Mahone, Robert Mahone Jr.(Charlene), Vanessa Mahone, Timothy Cox, and Danielle Latu (Noke).
In honor of Victor's memory, a funeral service will be held at California Burial Chapel. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know and love him.
Rest in peace, dear Victor. You will forever be missed.
