Obituary

Vicki T. Norris, a beloved resident of Kingsport, Tennessee, passed away on July 2, 2024, at the age of 68. She was born on October 11, 1955, in Rockwood, Tennessee. Vicki's life was filled with warmth, compassion, and selflessness that touched the hearts of all who knew her.

Vicki had a wide range of hobbies that brought her joy and creativity. She loved to sew, crochet, and indulge in various crafting activities, often making beautiful blankets for her loved ones. Her favorite foods included meatloaf, stuffed peppers, and comfort foods. She was also a fan of Barry Manilow and enjoyed his music immensely.

Having served in the US Army with an honorable discharge, Vicki possessed a strong sense of duty and commitment. However, her greatest joy in life came from helping and giving to others. Vicki's loving nature extended to her family, and she took immense pride in raising her children, Tony Edwards, Candy Hensley, and Cristel Edwards. Her grandchildren, Bridgette Bible, Corban Edwards, Stevie Hopson, Charlene "Rosie" Hopson, Mark Bible, and her Grandchild, Rylee Bible, held a special place in her heart.

Vicki's impact on the lives of others was immeasurable. She would go above and beyond, giving all she had to those she loved and even to strangers in need. Her caring and giving nature made her a pillar of support in her community. Vicki was actively involved in the Church of LDS, where she found solace and strength in her faith.

Survived by her siblings, Ricky and Ernie, Vicki leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will endure in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be remembered for her feisty spirit, unconditional love, and unwavering dedication to her family and community.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to American Kidney Fund, as Vicki had a heart for helping those in need

As we bid farewell to Vicki, we find solace in knowing that her favorite place in the world, her cherished home, will forever hold the echoes of her love and the memories of her kindness. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
