Vernon Lee Bowling, a kind and giving soul, passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 86. He was born on November 23, 1937, in Brentwood, Tennessee. Vernon resided in Nashville, Tennessee, at the time of his passing. Vernon Lee gave his life to Christ at an early age and was baptized at Mt Lebanon MBC in Brentwood, TN.

Vernon was married to Marie Bowling, and together they shared a lifetime of love and companionship. They built a beautiful family, filled with love and cherished memories. Vernon is survived by his children Vera (Darry) Howse, Tawanda Bowling, Kenneth (Sherry) Thomas, Natasha (Ray) Bowling, Duane Lytle, and Isaac (Carolyn) Lytle. His memory will also be cherished by his loving Sister, Shirley Calloway.

In addition to his immediate family, Vernon leaves behind a legacy through his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His grandchildren include Tierra (Matthew) Moss, Ashley Howse, Chasity Bowling, Corian Bowling, Sheena Thomas (deceased), Reanna Bowling, Brianna Lytle, and Sontrez Smith. His great-grandchildren, Taraji, Majeur, Lewis, Geniyah, Kiyan, Dereon Kormora, and Kori. He also leaves two devoted Sister in laws Nathene and Mary Bowling, and Godson Deandre Bowling who brought him immense joy along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins .

Vernon was preceded in death by his parents and multiple siblings. He will be remembered for his generosity and warm-hearted nature, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Vernon Lee Bowling will be deeply missed by his loved ones, but his kindness and legacy will forever remain in their hearts.
