She used to work as a janitor at Blue River High School and after that she worked as a nurse for several years. She has a Bachelor’s & Masters Degree. She also has her GED diploma.

Verna Lee Spicer Donoghue Brown was born and raised in West Seattle, Washington. She was born on September 30, 1959 and passed away due to losing a long battle of cancer on June 15, 2024. I’m glad she is no longer suffering and has gained her angel wings in the gardens of Heaven. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her and although she is gone, she will never be forgotten. She is proceeded in death by her mother and father Helen spicer and Harvey Spicer her uncles Bill Spicer and Finley Spicer, her Aunts Juanita Fox, and Maryland Johnson, sister, Elaine Dunmore Spicer, Grandmother on her dad’s side, Bertha Spicer. If I have forgotten anyone, I’m sorry I apologize. She is survived by two daughters Helene Donoghue and Olivia Brown, three Grandchildren, Austin Weaver, Lauren Cummings and Conner Burke, Spouse, Steven Brown. She is also survived by my father’s mother Ann Dunlap Brown and her husband, Richard Romero. She is survived by her niece, Tia Little, and her kids, Viviana and Pablo and several other relatives I’m sorry if I forgot some please accept my apologies. Spend as much time with your family as possible because you never know when something devastating could happen, life is too short!
