Vera knew Christ at an early age, she was baptized at Flintridge Baptist in Marshville NC. and once relocated to Michigan she attended Greater King Solomon Baptist Church. Vera was a giver in life. She helped numerous churches with their projects. She last attended The Church of Refuge in Smithfield NC. She has impacted so many lives through nursing, real estate, and character. There is no one that knows her that has not been impacted by some sort of meal or dessert she would feed anybody even if you do not know what it is (Vera’s Special). Vera's interests were reading, cooking, travelling, game of chance, and working. She was not a person of many words unless she was giving practical advice even if you did not want to hear it.
Vera was a person who lived by her actions. She shows her love, compassion, and empathy through her actions. She was frugal yet she enjoyed the finer things in life. She believed in making positive memories with her family. “I might not give you everything, but I can give you memories, the best value in life”. And she did…
We'll plant real trees for you in Vera's memory and display your contribution forever.
