Our uncel favorite food was the Iraqi style Bamia which means okra stew with white basmati rice and also loved the Iraqi dish called Fasolia with rice which meant large kidney beans stew with rice

Our uncle was the most honorable man we ever knew, he was smart and very kind to everyone and also was very respectful and helpful to the community and anyone whom needed help

Our uncle loved peace and quiet, he enjoyed the sounds of the chirping birds in the mornings and enjoyed watching news and or reading Daily Newspapers.

Our uncle favorite place was Athens Greece. It was his dream to go back there one day and live there but sadly it didn’t happen 😔

Obituary
In Loving Memory of Varos Krikorian
November 30, 1958 – April 12, 2026
We celebrate the life of Varos Krikorian, a righteous brother, uncle, and exceptionally patient soul who passed away on April 12, 2026. Varos was a man of intellect and duty; though he graduated from the University of Baghdad as an architectural engineer, he was immediately drafted to serve his country. He spent eight grueling years as a soldier in the Iran-Iraq War, carrying the physical scars of severe wounds, but never losing his loving spirit.
God spared his life and guided him to Greece, allowing our family to reunite and seek a brighter future. Together, we made our final journey to the United States in 1992. Varos was a truly blessed man who lived his life with grace. Bringing his journey full circle, he was laid to rest as he wished on June 17, 2026, at Carpenders Park Cemetery, Oxhey Lane, Watford, WD19 5RL, UK. His memory will live on in our hearts forever.
Surviving Family
Varos is survived by his loving sisters, Ani Krikorian, Lala Sozou Krikorian, and Armenoosh Krikorian; his brother, George Sozou; his niece, Nazik Meledonian; and his nephews, Vigen Meledonian, David Loesel, and Jacob Loesel.
