Vaifale Pelite Johnston, born on November 18 1977, in New Zealand, passed away on November 30 2023, in Caboolture, Australia. He is survived by his loving wife, Tenille Johnston, and their three cherished children, Jordyn, Isaac, and Khloe.
Vaifale, a devoted family man, was the son of Peteru and Solialofi Faraimo and had a large family, with siblings Lawrence, Sila, late brother John, Omi, George, Abraham, Ruth, David, Alice and Juana. He was known for his caring nature, infectious humor, and unwavering positivity. He had a unique ability to uplift those around him, often serving as the family joker and a source of support in times of need.
His greatest pride came from witnessing his children succeed and thrive in all their endeavors. Vaifale was a selfless man who dedicated his life to helping others, whether through small acts of kindness or larger community efforts. He played a significant role in the Samoan Community and actively supported his children’s sporting events, often seen lending a hand at the clubhouse.
Vaifale was also deeply involved with Freedom Church Ministries, passionately supporting the work being done in God's Kingdom. His impact on the community will be felt for years to come, as he left behind big shoes to fill.
In his leisure time, Vaifale found joy in doing anything that evolved around the beach and water or as some may know, anything that was somewhat fun but dangerous. He lived by the motto, "God's got me," and maintained a positive outlook on life even when he was unwell, never allowing negativity to overshadow his spirit.
He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
We'll plant real trees for you in Vaifale's memory and display your contribution forever.
