V. Carol Coffman, born on April 9, 1942, in Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on October 6, 2024, in Goldsboro, North Carolina. A beloved matriarch, Carol dedicated her life to her family, cherishing every moment spent with her nine children: Carol Ward (Chris Ward), Robert Coffman Jr. (Tricia Coffman), Bonnie Bagley (Mike Bagley), Lori Ngo (Thien Ngo), Tina Nassar (Georges Nassar), Joy Kershner (Andy Kershner), Jill Merchant, and Danielle Coffman. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Amy Coffman. Carol's legacy continues through her 22 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Married for 64 years to Robert R. Coffman Sr., Carol was known for her vibrant spirit and her knack for throwing the best parties, which brought family and friends together in joyful celebration. She had a passion for gardening and canning, and she loved caring for her many animals, which brought her immense happiness.
Carol's warmth and love for her family will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
