His family
"Tyson Michael Gaines, age 30, was tragically taken from us on September 18th. He was a devoted father, brother, and friend, known for his fun-loving nature, infectious laughter, and irresistible charm.
Tyson was born and raised in Chicago, IL and went on to graduate from Lincoln Park High school. He further pursued his passion for education and obtained a master's degree in teaching. Tyson's dedication to his students was evident in his work as a teacher, where he strived to make a positive impact on their lives.
Outside of his career, Tyson had many other passions. He was an avid basketball player, finding joy in the competitiveness and camaraderie of the sport. His kids meant the world to him, and he treasured every moment spent with them, creating lasting memories and bonds.
Tyson had a creative side as well, with a flair for drawing and dancing. Music was his constant companion, as he couldn't resist the urge to sing and dance along to his favorite beats. Cooking was another talent Tyson possessed, and he delighted in preparing delicious meals for family and friends.
Tyson's bright smile, warm heart, and playful spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He leaves behind cherished memories that will forever be held close to our hearts.
A memorial service to honor Tyson's life will be held at Michel funeral Home on September 23rd. All friends, family, and acquaintances are welcome to attend and pay their respects.
May Tyson Michael Gaines rest in eternal peace, his memory living on in the hearts of those he touched."
