Tyler James Maines, beloved son, brother, and friend, was born on February 7, 2007, in Princeton, WV. He peacefully passed away on July 5, 2024, in Hickory, NC.

Tyler had a passion for IT and Computer Technology, always fascinated by the ever-evolving world of technology. He enjoyed spending his free time delving into the intricacies of computers, always seeking to expand his knowledge.

One of Tyler's simple pleasures in life was savoring a plate of spaghetti, his favorite food. He also found solace in the music of Suicide Boys, and their melodies would often transport him to a place of tranquility.

Standing tall in stature, Tyler was known for his height, but his heart was what truly set him apart. He loved nothing more than seeing others smile, and he would go to great lengths to ensure the happiness of those around him.

Tyler's favorite place in the world was in the company of his family and friends. Whether it was sharing laughter, enjoying meals together, or simply spending quality time, he cherished these moments of togetherness.

When not engrossed in his technological pursuits, Tyler found joy in watching TV shows like The Regular Show and playing football, his favorite sport. He was affectionately known as "Ty" to those close to him.

Tyler's dedication to his studies and passion for Computer Technology earned him a scholarship, which was one of his proudest accomplishments. His favorite quote, "Nothing will work unless you do," served as a constant reminder of the value of hard work and perseverance.

In his short time with us, Tyler impacted the lives of many. He had an innate ability to make sure everyone around him was taken care of, always willing to lend a helping hand or a listening ear.

Tyler James Maines will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his parents Shirley Laws, Karleigh Maddy, Autumn Dotson, Dalton Reep, his extended family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. May his kind and selfless spirit continue to inspire us all.
