Troy Curtis Schnell, born on July 12, 1968, in Reno, NV, was called home on September 14, 2024, to be with ou Lord. Troy was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend who cherished his family above all else. He is survived by his beloved wife, Kimberly Schnell, their daughters Brittany and Alyssa, and granddaughters Kendall and Reagan, as well as his mother, Linda, father, Bill, step mother, Jan and foster brother Eron Read.

Troy was an artistic soul with a passion for music, often found playing his guitar and singing in his bands K'niption fit and Froggy Style. He has been a musician since high school. His first band was Teal Blue. His favorite bands were Bon Jovi and Def Leppard. He loved tacos and ice cream. Troy enjoyed floating the Swan River and had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed playing practical jokes on friends and family.

Troy loved his job as a maintenance man at Rising Mountains, where his skills as a mechanic and handyman were invaluable. He was also a volunteer fire fighter with the Bigfork Fire Department, He was a phlebotomist for 15 years for the Puget Sound Blood center of Seattle and also the Red Cross of Kalispell. contributing to his community with both his talents and time.

Troy's legacy will be remembered through the love he showed to his family and the music he shared with others. He was a great musician and performer whose spirit will continue to resonate in the lives he touched.
