Troy loved fishing, hunting, and family especially his grandkids
He could outeat anyone on fresh fish and "tutorials salad"
Loved the song Ice Ice Baby by vanilla ice.
Troy loved to give and help. He was a volunteer fireman for 20 years with Mt View Volunteer Fire Department west of Muskogee. Also had a soft spot for kids and we opened our home to many kids and teens to live. Helped for a few years with 4H group through Pershing elementary and loved doing petting zoos at the school. Also loved to raise animals and gardening.

Troy loved life. Friends, family, and even strangers he met usually became friends. Te fire department and his quail was his favorite. His job remodeling with his own company Wiedel Brothers Remodeling and his brother was his passion in his early years that supported the family
Troy Anthony Wiedel, born on October 20, 1964, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, passed away on December 13, 2024, in Muskogee County, Oklahoma. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, who cherished his family deeply, especially his eleven grandkids.
Troy was married on July 7, 1997, to Burnadine Moore Estes, and together they lived on their family farm for 27 years. He is survived by his wife, Burnadine, his mother, Janey Berry, and two sisters, Donna Rosson and Tracy Moses. Troy's legacy continues through his children: Catherine Mitchum and husband Greg, Brandon Estes and wife Carley, Michael Wiedel and wife Jackie, and Shalleta Booth, as well as his son-in-law Joey Haggard. He was a proud grandfather to Anthony, Hayden, Emerson, Kyle, Hailey, Lynx, Conner, Ezekiel, Holden, Ruston, and Bradley.
Troy was passionate about fishing, hunting, and gardening. He enjoyed overnight fishing and camping trips with his grandkids and was known for his remarkable ability to out-eat anyone when it came to fresh fish and "tutorials salad." A lover of music, he had a fondness for Vanilla Ice's "Ice Ice Baby," and he spent many evenings watching westerns, fueled by his admiration for John Wayne.
A generous soul, Troy devoted over 20 years as a volunteer fireman with the Mt View Volunteer Fire Department, where he made countless lifelong friends. He was deeply invested in the community, opening his home to children and teens in need and contributing to the local 4H group through Pershing Elementary, where he loved organizing petting zoos. His profession as the owner of Wiedel Brothers Remodeling allowed him to work closely with his brother and support his family, while his proudest accomplishments included the lives he touched and the friendships he forged over the years.
Troy will be remembered as one of the most God-fearing and generous individuals, always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. His influence will continue to resonate with those who were fortunate enough to know him.
