A devoted family man, Tony loved nothing more than spending time with his family and grandchildren. He is survived by his beloved wife, Noriko Kurose, whom he married in Japan, and their son, Paul Darrel, and daughter, Allison Madori, along with her husband, Ryan Birdsey, and their children, Asher Bane and Maci Grace. He also leaves behind his brother, Tim Conard, and his wife, Rebecca, along with their children.

A man of service, Tony dedicated many years to the armed forces, serving in the Air Force and the National Guard. He was proud of his service to his country and his commitment to his faith as a Christian pastor, leading his own congregation for a time.
