Timothy Dong Won Schulze, born on January 21, 1975, in Mason City, Iowa, passed away on September 21, 2024, in Los Altos, California. He is remembered as a devoted family man who cherished every moment spent with his beloved children, Naomi and Arhan, along with his partner, Anita.
Timothy was a remarkable individual with a zest for life that was evident in everything he did. His infectious smile was his true superpower, bringing joy to all who knew him. A talented athlete, he excelled in basketball and earned recognition as one of the top 100 high school graduates in the nation. He was a proud black belt in Tae Kwon Do and enjoyed a variety of hobbies including reading and playing the trumpet and guitar.
Timothy had a great appreciation for travel, having visited diverse places such as Japan, Singapore, India, the Maldives, Canada, and many beautiful islands like Maui and Kauai. Japan held a special place in his heart as his favorite destination. He also enjoyed indulging in sushi and chocolate, and often shared laughter while watching his favorite show, Family Guy.
He was a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Timothy is survived by his parents, Mal Ye and Darrell Schulze, his sister Kim Schulze, and his cherished children, Naomi and Arhan. His two pets, Hank and Willie, brought him joy and companionship throughout his life.
Timothy’s legacy of love, resilience, and adventure will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who knew him.
